Anthropomorphic studies have shown that man has evolved to the present state from common ancestors. Diversity has indeed two possible notional outcomes - either of accepting everyone equally, as Mother Teresa did, in the spirit of one humanity or else engage in conflicts and violence.

However, in the present times, the younger generation has been showing a great deal of genuine acceptance of other youth with an open-mindedness and lack of cultural differences. If some youth are led to fanatical decisions and acts, it is due very often to poverty or misguided notions fed by adults with firm culture-based biases.

The present involvement of youth in this conference instituted by the UN fills me with hope that we can bring global awareness and the values of care, concern and sharing as a world order.
