I have been around youth, boys and girls, that have made life difficult for themselves due to lack of knowledge. And my countenance has dwindled, because I have witnessed a holocaust of ruined lives in the past, even now. I love peace and the prospect it brings. I love sanctuary - a foundation l...

Earth is a planet of prosperity and knowledge. It's been around since the dawn of mankind, and now we have reached the year 2014. We have reached our worse. The truth hides, and the lies are shown. Think about that. Freedom of knowledge and the freedom to protest. The big thing I want all of you to think are the problems and threats that our world faces. Imagine a world without fear, corruption, war, chaos, lies, poverty, or hunger. Think about that because our world has reached the complete opp...

Imagine a world without girls. A world occupied by arrogant and naïve men. Imagine you have no mother to talk to when you are hurt or a girl to call a sister. Imagine a world where men give birth to boys and imagine a world where girls are extinct. Now, picture yourself close to the only girl in the world - What do you think she deserves? If your thoughts are positive towards life, then that's how every girl child should be treated, catered for and nurtured. Girls have come to stay, and women a...

“The road is blocked. You cannot go any further, please come through the other way,” a 7-year old child declared solemnly. “But I have to drop off my daughter. She is going to be late for her office. Please let us pass!” my father requested. “No, Sir!” this time another child spoke, and sounded like they were coming-of-age. “Can you please look at my card?” my father handed out his service card. “Hmm…”, the first child began to check. After he was satisfied, h...

The other day I was taking a personality quiz on TIME, in which the results would indicate my political stance. Some of the questions seemed quite random (ex. do you prefer dogs to cats?), but generally the results came back pretty accurate. One of the questions in particular caused me to pause. It stated "you are proud of your country's history" and then followed with a number of choices ranging from "strongly agree" to "strongly disagree." I stared at the question for a while,...

Should we have to live in fear of the government? Should children grow up in a society which represses their rights to free speech? Of course not! Government's job, by definition, is to protect and preserve the rights of its citizens. Recently, Edward Snowden, the supposed "whistleblower" was nominated by Norwegian lawmakers for the Nobel Peace Prize. Suddenly, the whole world starts freaking out saying things that fall into one extreme or the other. You have on one hand people say...

This year, women made great strides in career areas, world service and the global sector of humanity helping. Humanity helping? Making change! I really love this commercial that aired during the Golden Globes last weekend. I don't really have much else to say other than how wonderful it is. It features a song by Sara Bareilles called Brave. For your entertainment, I posted some of the lyrics below. Have fun with the video. And women, remember to be brave! Brave by Sara Bareille...
