I am a student in an International Baccalaureate high school in the United States. Korea is becoming a multicultural society very fast. Maybe too fast because society is still confused about what it means to be a multicultural. Lack of education about multiculturalism and diversity has led to a misunderstanding and mistreatment of multicultural Koreans. Education that fosters diversity should start with students at an early age. However, the Korean educational system is not doing enough to promote diversity.
