This audio piece gives an indication of how radio is being used in South Africa as a very powerful medium for youth to give young people a voice and connects them with their communities. It is also through this medium that young reporters are able to develop and refine their journalism and life skills to make a great impact in their communities. The fact that BBC Radio Oxford recognizes this initiative is a great bonus for the young reporters. Big up to Children's Radio Foundation.
