2016 wasn’t the best year of my life but wasn’t the worst neither. 2016 was the year I learned so much and grew as a person, spiritually and emotionally. I learned things about myself but I know I still have so much to learn and discover to be the best version of myself I can be. We lose ourselves to find ourselves again, and grow as individuals and be better and better human beings. I’ve learned that you need to be true with yourself about how you are, what you want, WHO...

It is almost one year since my first post on Voice of Youth and also one year since I start writing in general. Before that I didn’t write anything concrete, only attempts of my thoughts and things that happened. But I always wanted to write and share, and one of my dreams from many years ago was (and still is) that someday I want to write a book. I realized that writing helped me in many ways, from improving my English to helping me feel better when I was feeling down and em...

People. In our life we will meet all kinds of people, good people, bad people, people from whom we’ll learn important lessons, people who are blessings for us, or lessons, people who will help us and people who will drag us down. People will stay in our life for a day, a week, a month, a year or a lifetime and we need to value them and the lessons they will teach us. People will hurt you, will hurt you in the most hurtful and paradoxically beautiful ways, because they w...

Feminism? Human rights? Equality? Many people are scared of these words like it is something to be ashamed of. I can say that I am a feminist, I believe in equality, in human rights, I believe in good people, I believe that everything happens for a reason, I believe that everything has a purpose but we need to find it, we need to find our voice, our true self, to find US, exactly as we are, we need to discover and believe in ourself. “Feminism is a range of political mo...

If I can say something about myself it’s that I love to read, I love books, old fashioned way to read, to actually buy a book. Recently I start reading Eat Pray Love and it is one of the most amazing books I ever read. But now I want to write about a quotes from Virginia Woolf I find in the book: “Across the broad continent of a woman’s life falls the shadow of a sword. On one side of that sword, there lies convention and tradition and order, where all is correct. But on th...

People have expectations? From who? For what? People expect from others to be a certain way, or to behave a certain way, but every person is different. Every person is different therefore every single person sees things differently. What one person wants will always different from what other person wants. One person’s needs will never be the same with the needs of another person. So expectations are different. We expect from others what we want, but not what they want....

To do what you feel it's right, what it's best for you without thinking what others will say becomes more and more hard, people will judge you without any hesitation, without thinking. This world will be a better place if people wouldn't be judgmental, if people just accept and love each other. Yes, it's hard to do what you feel is right, people's expectation will always be different but to do what you want to do, what you feel is right will always lead to your own path, your des...

This is a post about the connection we feel with people, with friends. Distance doesn't matter when you have a connection with someone – a friendship. Don't take people for granted, people are not there forever so make sure you appreciate them. People, things, events – nothing is a coincidence in life, everything happens for a reason. We don't meet people by accident. With some people we have a connection, a connection we can't understand or explain. Some people are meant...

Do you ever lost a friend? People grow up, they change, they forget, they lost touch and in time they lost friends and friendships that were very important to them. But why? How you can be strangers with someone that you were friends with? Do actually people change and grow apart? Or they just don't put some effort in a real friendship? In a friendship you have to hang in, stay conncted, fight for it, be there for them, don't be busy or get annoyed when they want to tal...
