Clean energy is becoming more and more of a necessity. But, it's not available to everyone. California's Governor Jerry Brown signed a bill to make it possible for California's residents to purchase clean energy. Most of the state's residents were unable to make use of the copious hours of sun to power their home due to the fact that they either rent their home an therefor do not own their roofs, don't have enough of a credit rating to install the solar panel, or their roof is simply too small. Now that the law is in order, those who buy clean energy from energy producers receive a credit on their utility bill. This bill not only gives California's millions of residents accessibility to clean energy but also paves the way for other states and countries to follow suit.
