BLUE: The young soul sat on the beach; just some meters away from the crystal clear sea water. He could easily feel the warmth of the sand grains and admired the unique beauty the sun which was tucking itself elegantly into the majestic ocean. An elderly person, who stood beside him and perhaps his grandfather, asked him: “What are you looking at my dear?” “I’m not looking; I’m enjoying this beautiful world” he replied softly. “Tell me about it!” asked the e...

A place where the blossoms are bright A place where the land is not torn A place where my people are free A place where my children are born That is what my country should be. A land where the people are not silenced, with words like knives, or screams that pierce their heart A land where my friends and foes alike can live in harmony, A nation where my family does not live apart That is where my rights lie. A world full of love , a world ne'er strifed...

Rain is a quintessential element in life. It represents different things for each one of us. I tried writing this small poem by imagining its importance for different communities across the globe. Hope it is appreciated. RAIN: BLURRED YET SO REVEALING. Pouring down like a river; Whipping against my window fiercely; Making its way slowly yet so gently; Time to welcome it: Rain. Wiping away all chances for me to fall back asleep; Clutching my goose-fleshed arms ti...

Hi guys! the thing that I think makes the Chileans the proudest is the megadiversity that surrounds them , due the vast and diverse beauty of this wonderful territory. Chile is well known to host adventurous foreigners that look for beautiful sights and good memories, but any words I can say compare to what is shown in the video above. My only little message is to remember that nature is perfect and stunning but it´s in our hands to keep it as healthy as possible , enjoy!! PS...

*Close your eyes* Picture yourself flying over the Indian Ocean and you look down below and all you see is crystal blue waters and waves crashing. You take a look closer and see birds flying near the surface and dipping into the water occasionally. You dive into the water, 10 metres, 20 metres, 30 metres (just don’t hold your breath) and there with you are beautiful corals and fish. Be careful not to damage anything. It takes a long time for it to return the way it was. The S...

Hi guys! I´s guessing we are aware on how the world has turned into a divergent place where injustice, war and hunger somehow have managed to coexist with better technology, and volunteering turning into a worldwide gear to enhance and improve healthcare and human rights education. However I´m not going to try to balance the “good” versus the “evil” in our world; rather I will pretend to answer a question I´m sure most of us have had at least once in our lifetime: if...

"Is climate change and its impacts really a myth?" This is the question many people are asking. Firstly, climate change according to Encarta Dictionary is defined as change in global weather patterns: long-term alteration in global weather patterns, especially increases in temperature and storm activity, regarded as a potential consequence of the greenhouse effect. (Microsoft® Encarta® 2009). Like explained in the definition climate change brings about global warming, floods,...
