The ongoing violence in Syria not only affected over 5 million children but also forced millions of them out of school. The aid provided by the international community is not enough to help or back up these vulnerable children and their families. Many of them may suffer life long trauma- either physically or mentally. Providing temporary shelter, food and water is never going to save them from the harsh hot weather nor from the cold winter nights. Moreover, female children are at a risk regarding safety concerns. How are we going to replace them? Moving them to neighboring countries is just a the process of making them refugees. It's time to look up from a different perspective of how can we help out millions as a consequence of armed conflict.
