Here is a picture that shows how Mongu, a town in the western part of Zambia, is not cared for by its own people... I wonder what would happen if this kind of dirt is allowed to pile up for more than 5 years.... Let's stand together and find a way to show these people how to keep our environment clean....

Fellow Student Leaders, We’ve finally concluded our work on the Plan of Action. The ideas and effort you have invested in this document should have begun a change. All of us are already thinking on the issues that we discussed and at the very least are aware of the many problems we face. Action is precisely what we should strive for now. Bearing in mind our Plan of Action, we can still have some insights on what is written. It is important to think on what we have to do and...

Voices of Youth Connect has allowed young people from all over the world to express their thoughts without any barriers. As members of associations, it has also allowed us from Morocco to work on subjects that are very dear to our hearts. This time, we tackled a problem that has reached most learning places that are supposed to be where our children are safe: violence at school. Wether it is amongst students or violence between teachers and children; we have decided to voice thei...

Why violence? Violence has in the past few years been a major contributer to wars, conflicts and distruction of public property. A war cannot break out if people are not violent, live in harmony and unity. We can make a difference! Lets unite as the next generation for a better future. Yes we can!

Kids who learn a lot about the risks of drugs and alcohol from their parents are less likely to use than those who do not. We don't always need to have our guardians or parents telling us what is right and what is wrong because we can also show some responsibility. For youths to be protected from drugs, I think they should try to engage more in extra curricular activities and always ask themselves how taking drugs could affect their future. My personal message to youths around the...

The Zambia Environmental Management Agency (ZEMA) in the past few weeks rejected a proposal by Australia’s Zambezi Resources to develop a US $494-million opencast copper mine in lower Zambezi national park because of environmental concerns. This came into effect after this autonomous body (ZEMA) carried out an Environmental Impact Assessment (EPA) which revealed several issues which included the copper leach process whose affluence could have affected with the ecosystem.
