This is a poem I wrote a while ago that I thought would be nice to post. People, animals, and places in need. All suffering from humanity's greed. Living in a world that is changing bit by bit. Some may say there is no way to control it. But there is one way and probably many more. Stand up for your rights and others too. Open the door. Show what people can do.

Empowering learners against crime Our learners have to feel safe at their schools as well as within their communities. The Safer South Africa Program capacitates the young people and learners in particular with information and skills that they need to stay safe and protect themselves and their families. This is a great empowerment initiative as our learners are the future leaders of tomorrow and thus need to grow and live without fear that is imposed by criminals.
