AT&T is the lead sponsor in a competition to develop a cell phone app that will benefit the population. It's a really incredible opportunity and you don't have to know how to create an app to take part, the site gives you an opportunity to join a team.

There is also a catalog of socially relevant apps, so I suggest you check it out and share your ideas!

Thank you for sharing! This is very interesting to see people's responds about cell phones. This type of device often considered at big part of addiction for youth. I am (10s) finds that cell phone and apps on iphone usefull, especialy apps that help me do my school work. I think it really depends on people reactions toward apps. I think (in my opinion) people know about apps from the rate of "Top paid" or "Top free". Maybe soon we will need to make app buying goes more complicated in order to decrease device addiction for young people. =)
