School uniform policy

My secondary school is making all of its pupils have their names embroided onto the school jumper. My mum and dad can't buy me a new jumper for the start of the school term because the shops can't sell any of my schools jumpers without the pupils names on them.

Last year two teachers made fun out of my surname, I am afraid that people will laugh at me and call me names. If I don't go to school wearing the full uniform, the headteacher has said that he will send me home. My parents don't want me to wear clothing with my name on incase any strangers learn my name and then try to make friends with me on facebook, etc. Can my school make me advertise my name? Please help. Y
