When the government shuts down the internet in a country like they have done in Egypt and Libya recently, how do the people work around it? The economist tells this interesting story:

I was listening to NPR this morning and they interviewed a social media expert who was reading out the trending topics from cities throughout Libya, regarding what was happening with tanks, snipers, and bombings. Seems like the reporters of the 21st century are the ones that might be closest to the action, regardless of previous degrees or merits. And I think this is a good thing.
