There is a need for media literacy to be implemented in our committees and schools, today's youth get more and more information from the media, which consist of basis exploitation of women and young girls. Women and girls are constantly seen in the media as sex objects, thereby promoting this ideology of women's worth being based on her body rather than her brains. We need to take a stand against the media, rather then just becoming desensitized to the images that are flooding us all.
