Voices of Youth

Technology has the potential to create substantial and lasting change in the world. Right now, many technology-related projects are being implemented worldwide. Innovative mapping projects (grassroots mapping; digital mapping) are changing the way that people see and interact with their communities. Social change-themed websites (itgetsbetter.org; change.org) are giving global platforms for civic movements. How can social and civic media better the standard of living for those who are in need?
