A successful society is built on the foundation of education. It is the belief that no one is born wise, but rather that wisdom is acquired through experience. Education creates institutions that aim to help those who are afflicted by ignorance, poverty, disease, and violence. We can become our best selves via education and make the world a better place for those around us. The process of imparting knowledge and developing abilities in a pupil is commonly thought of as education. However, learning can be viewed as a lifelong process that is required for survival, as well as a method utilized by society to transmit information across generations, allowing individuals to fully engage in their culture. Training, which is more narrowly focused on teaching specific skills or giving restricted vocational preparation and can be short-term or long-term, should not be mistaken with education.
What is the purpose of education?
The purpose of education is to impact knowledge. To function effectively in society, a young person requires at least a basic knowledge of literacy and numeracy as he grows older. From the ground up, education aids young people in obtaining this. It encourages knowledge and learning. How can a young person born into a poor family improve his situation? The answer to this question is straightforward: knowledge acquisition. A well-educated person can easily fit into society. People who are aware do not make decisions based on their emotions. They make better decisions by using their wits. Schooling isn't the only source of knowledge. This means that education can be received at any age.
Benefits of Education
Education benefits people of all ages. It doesn't matter how old or young you are. Every one of us is a part of society. In order to function effectively, we must be educated. We'll be stuck in a rut if we don't do something. It is this tool that allows everyone to face life's obstacles head-on. A person who has never been taught, for example, may respond differently to a question. An intelligent person can solve the same problem quickly. Because we need air to breathe. Education is also necessary for living a healthy life. A well-educated person can contribute to a better future for their family. As a result, any country can benefit from this. Better education benefits many other facets of life.
In today’s era a lot has really changed due to the pandemic. One of the changes because of COVID-19 is the classes of students, then face-to-face yet the classes now are online. The Philippines is one of the most affected countries due to the pandemic. Many have lost their jobs, many people are suffering because of COVID-19 and many students have been really affected because many are struggling to find something to use in the online class. I am one of those students who is struggling because of the test we are facing today.
My studies have not been easy during this pandemic due to the lack of equipment for the online class. Schools and other learning places have been forced to convert to total online learning while the world continues to fight the virus's violent spread. Online learning is a method of learning that uses the Internet and other technology devices and applications to deliver and manage synchronous and asynchronous academic programs. Individual students do not have a defined schedule for asynchronous online learning, whereas synchronous online learning includes real-time interactions between the teacher and the students.
