She hastened to close the “box” but alas the whole content had already escaped but for one thing, which lay at the bottom of the jar.....Hope!

While the box served as a prison for the evils that escaped, it thereafter serves as a dwelling for Hope.

The moral of Pandora's Box is that unchecked curiosity and disobedience can be dangerous, but hope remains.
