A photo of burning Earth.

I have cherished you since your birth.
But I am afraid you never knew my worth.
You scathed me, hurt me, took me for granted.
I can never recall your care for me, the memories are fainted.
With your advancements, you choked me.
I coughed out loud, yet you turned out to glee.
I can't take any of it anymore.
I have cried enough now my eyes are sore.
I won't ever bring you rain,
until you stop inflicting this pain.
I won't make the seeds grow,
even though, I feel melancholic down low.
Now I need from you, a break.
I will no longer put my life on stake for your sake.

Don't let Mother Earth suffer anymore.
