“Gather ye rosebuds while ye may, Old Time is still a-flying; And this same flower 🌹 that smiles today Tomorrow will be dying.... 🥀“,  from a poem by Robert Herrick, where he implores to young virgins to make much of time.

In this poem he urges the youth to use their time wisely. Once time is lost it can never be recovered. When you young and fit and healthy, put in the time, effort and hard work to achieve your dreams for the best life possible for yourself.

Simply put sieze the day, carpe diem!!

I like the concept of time in the 2011 movie, “In Time”, starring Justin Timberlake. It’s a modern age movie that might appeal to most Gen Z. Time is portrayed as a currency. This concept opens our minds to how precious our time on this earth truly is, once spent, you closer to your end. How “giving time” to others can help the world 🌍

Over decades and decades so many philosophers, artists, musicians urge us to use our time wisely. Be mindful. Have time management. Prepare.

In the enchanting world of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland, Through the Looking Glass; time is personified. This too is a creative way to make us understand that we are not here forever. Seeing time as a being might make us understand, that he controls our clocks 🕰 He has serious work to do. He is the Master of our time.

Always look at the themes and symbolisms used in art, movies, music 🎶 to show us the importance of TIME.

The Netflix series, 12 Monkeys opens up our minds to time potentially not being linear, during a time of a futuristic plague (the end of the world) interesting and entertaining concept and quite intelligent because of our circumstance with Covid-19.

Tik tok! Tik tok! Tik tok! ⏰ ⏰ ⏰ No not Tik Tok the dancing app. Tik Tok, the clock of life is moving forward. Time is linear and always moves forward. So should we, because we can’t go back to past or go to the future. We only have right now and here. So don’t Tik Tok your life away do something important, like truly important.  Save our world. Actions not word!! Good Deeds. This world needs us more than ever, right now! #foodforthought
