The Mellow Yellow

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
With these colors said
What if I'm neither of the two?

What if I'm the color of sunshine,
Where beautiful sunflowers face
During the summertime?
And I'm the color you remember in those happy days.

And what if I'm not "neither"?
What if I'm actually in the best of both worlds?
Well, that makes me feel better
From the negative thoughts that got my mind whirled.

Surely, I'm not the only one
With this gift and view,
Waiting to be accepted by everyone
Just like red and blue.

Maybe, instead of calling me abnormal or weird,
Try calling me special or unique.
For in the world, only red and blue once appeared
I existed and gave you a peek.
