HUMAN RIGHTS World Children's Day 2020: #voicesofyouth illustration challenge. Illustration by Rebecca Coluccino.
When I saw this challenge I immediately thought of a world where every child can reach their complete human development without complications and obstacles to their growth.
I couldn't choose which cause to draw as I believe every one of the UNDP goals should be implemented for children to develop in a peaceful and constructive environment. Then I thought of UNICEF's work against malnutrition and of the positive effects a good diet has on small human beings and decided to draw a corncob in the kid's hand as a symbol of healthy and simple food. The kid is happy and wears an elastic band representing the UNDP goals to emphasize their presence and importance.
Cheers to a better world for future generations! Together we can make a change, especially in these difficult times of global humanitarian crisis! 🌐💙🤝
