Participatory method: A New and Interactive way to Enhance Children's learning
In a report by the World Bank Group (2018), 10 countries had a significant number of migrant children who had been living without their parents. Such kind of migration is usually encapsulated as internal migration of children i.e. is the movement of the children within national boundaries. While many organisations have committed their resources and energies towards the cause, which requires our special attention, howsoever Salam Balak Trust is one name which always remains at the top of the list. They have pioneered in aspects of inclusion and providing basic education to migrant children...

How Trade School Can Help Solve the U.S. Income Gap
The American dream: you grow up. Get a college education. Land a good job and then buy a house and start a family, and you and yours are set for life. It’s a nice story — but if the Great Recession of 2008 taught us anything, it’s that, all too often, stories are just that: stories. For many, that story may not even begin with a college degree, no matter what mom, dad, or teacher might say. Still, the new millennium is not a friendly time for trade schools in the US, either. For too many prospective students and their families, the nearly five decades old stigma against trade schools persists...
Toxic productivity
I've noticed that we link our productivity to self worth, even when we're not doing okay and it's out of our control. That my friends, is toxic productivity. The Instagram millionaires screaming "THE MORE YOU ARE AWAKE, THE MORE YOU MAKE" as much as it's some sort of motivation, it does more harm than good. And we have awakened a conversation about mental health and self care, but this constant productivity mindset completely goes against what mental health advocates have been trying to eradicate. I have fallen victim of this mindset. In fact, in the beginning of the year I was addicted to...
Fighting anxiety and stigma
My battle with anxiety started during summer 2018. From when I was diagnosed I knew I was about to embark on a tough and challenging journey. Not just me, but everyone who was close to me as well. It was really hard to come to terms with the fact that it would take time to be okay again and even harder to accept that it could hit me again at any time. My dad had battled with anxiety a few years earlier, so he knew what was going on and he was the greatest help. It didn't take long for my siblings, parents and close friends to get used to my disorder. They knew what to do when I wasn't feeling...
The education system is moving us backwards
The education system is probably one of the longest running systems in the world. Since the beginning, education has existed in one way or another. People teaching each other hunting methods, stories and even generational education of certain skills and family practices. The goal of the formal education system was to educate pupils on theory rather than practical skills. Since then, very little has changed on the style of teaching, which is a problem seeing how much has changed and is still changing around us. It's probably the most important part in development of not only the mind but the...
My journey : Climate Digital Mapping
Once upon a time, I was born. A couple took me in and gave me a shelter. They took care of me, gave me water every day and gave me plenty of boosters when I was sick. I grew up with all the warmth and affection they gave me and I considered them to be family. I gave them everything I could and to the best of my ability. We were all a very happy family and we were living peacefully and joyfully. But then one day, a person called money came and started to ruin this beautiful relationship. Things turned sour and our little family was nearly destroyed. I could not do anything, I was condemned to...

COVID-19: Living in a history textbook
These past 3 months have been incredibly stressful for everyone. Sometimes, it honestly doesn’t seem like real life. The Coronavirus is claiming thousands of lives around the world. It's not a joke. It's not a drill. It's our responsibility to keep ourselves safe and by doing that, we keep those around us safe too. The proof is in the numbers. It’s in the amount of people whose lives are in danger because of this virus. I beg you. Stay home and wash your hands regularly. Don’t become a statistic. I understand that this is new to all of us. But that's only more reason to stay home and stay safe...
Absolute Magnitude
The world woke up today and everything's upside down with lights running red and hearts turning blue. Not through books, nor crayons, but in empty stomachs and grocery shelves do children's fingers rummage through. I thought it different before, but now it seems it's the day that's dark and full of terrors; while it's in the wee hours at night does one only ever find peace anymore. That's why to those awake both in the night and day, the ones who carry their minds with one hand but don't forget to carry their heart in the other in these times and always—like stars—we may not see all of you and...
The things I'm doing during quarantine
Although Carona is a humanitarian disaster, many of the world's Philosophers believe that there will be another world after the end of Corona. We have been quarantined for three weeks (21 days) in Kabul the capital of Afghanistan. What are some of the things I'm doing during this period? Not going outside - I stay home all day. I pursue university lessons online, I read books, research the Coronavirus, write on social media, translate, follow some free online courses, play games (Chess), and watch many informative videos on YouTube about the Coronavirus. My purpose behind watching the videos...
The Lockdown
World out there it just seems madness with large spoons of fear, uncertainty and sadness. Watching the news with it's COVID-19 constant coverage, just feels the uncertainty and gives us the blues. There is sickness, there is isolation, there is even death. My fellow citizens, stay at home, follow doctors advise, do your "farudhee zinmaa". Then maybe from uncertainty and gloom, a seed of good can grow, with time maybe it will bloom.

Right now my country is on lockdown and my school’s closed. So I’m studying from home online.
