In Times of Adversity
At one point or another, we gave our control to the pandemic. We forced ourselves into submission when we saw the presumably omnipotent nature of the virus; our hearts struck with an all-consuming fear of uncertainty. There are two categories of individuals, those who possess an internal locus of control and those who possess an external locus of control. That is, some believe they make things happen, and those who believe things happen to them. Neither is better or worse, but too much of either one leads to awful harm.
